reblog for healthy polyamory ignore for unnecessary heterosexual love triangles

I didn’t fall in love with you. I walked into love with you, with my eyes wide open, choosing to take every step along the way. I do believe in fate and destiny, but I also believe we are only fated to do the things that we’d choose anyway. And I’d choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I’d find you and I’d choose you.

you should check out #AcademicAbleism on twitter, if you haven’t already.

you realize that there are good white people too? there are good white people and good black people, but there are also bad white people and bad black people. saying that you hate white people is still being racist. you should respect all races. what really matters about people are their ACTIONS, not what race they are. i realize that people will probably nag me about this opinion. well come at me. i'm sticking to this opinion.

I don’t have to respect all races. What I do is this thing called “people have to earn respect with me regardless of race, it’s not fucking freely given.” I respect the white people I come across that aren’t racist. I treasure them. Because the whites that truly get it, are rarer than a unicorn in space. And don’t insult me with that insinuation, because I never expressly said that there weren’t good white people. It’s just that it is my default belief is that most of you are racist. You are raised racist. Rewarded societally for being white. Inherently privileged. That’s what the fuck I’m saying. If you want to get into my personal reasons, 90% of the white people I’ve met in my life have been racist towards me. The majority of that number didn’t even realize they were being a fucking scumbag. Their actions are why I hate them, so I’d say I’m judging people based on their actions. Moving on.

Their race makes the rest of the world deem them more human than me. White people are inherently more respected. Seen as more “pure”, and more worthy of life. I have never committed a crime in my life. I am a decorated soldier, I hold a master’s degree and I am a volunteer firefighter. If I were to be killed today by a cop for the heinous crime of being black, the media would paint me as a thug. White people around the world would claim I was nothing but a leech being expunged. “Another criminal catching lead”. This view of my people is ridiculous. This is why I will hate white people until this inequality is resolved. No amount of hurt feelings will change how I feel about your race. Don’t even get me started on how white people like to erroneously talk about “affirmative action” as if it doesn’t benefit their women more than anyone else. Or speak on welfare when there are more of them on it than us. Or bitch about “liberals” when red states receive more federal aid per capita than blue states. Then come the tired ass reverse racism arguments.

Let me put it to you like this. Are white stereotypes getting you killed? No. Is me calling you a cracker doing anything other than inconveniencing you for 5 seconds? No. If you don’t like my opinion, don’t be around me. Block me. White people have made me feel less than human since I was conscious of it. Stop acting like racists are this magical minority group and that most white people aren’t racist. Because that is bullshit. No hate is good, I get that. What I find ridiculous is that you’re more concerned about why I hate white people for what they’ve personally done to me, and less concerned about why they hate me for existing. If you are more about absolving your feelings instead of resolving racial inequality, then you obviously don’t get it. Stick to your opinion if you want, I just hope you’re taking these same questions to neo-Nazi ass racism blogs. Instead of nagging black people about your hurt feelings.

White people are an oppressor class, we don’t deserve the benefit of the doubt until WE have done the work to fix that. We have been socialized within a racist power structure which has affected all of us, as such we have two choices, actively fight against racism and stand with people of color, or bury our heads in the sand and enable racism becoming complicit in every instance of it from racist “jokes” to the murders of unarmed black men. There is no middle ground for us and we all need to realize it. White people (myself included) do not get to sit back and pretend we’re blameless, our silence enables murder.

Defaulting to not trusting us until we have proven ourselves individually, and even then not giving us a free pass if we slip, is in my opinion the height of reason.

Behold, a white person I respect. People need to realize that I don’t default this way because I have some personal vendetta against white people. I default this way because you can’t tell a racist by looking at them.

Reasons abortion should be fully covered on all insurance plans:

  • If you can’t afford an abortion, you definitely can’t afford a pregnancy
  • If you can’t afford an abortion, and are forced to carry a pregnancy to term anyway, you sure as hell can’t afford a child

Who the fuck do you think you’re really protecting here?

How backwards is America that they’re still talking about what an insurance plan should or should not cover.
